Vinpromo is the trading name for a direct wine selling operation wholly owned by Bill Laverick. |

| I started in the wine trade as a trainee manager with Peter Dominic in 1968. I worked as a manager throughout the North East of England, as well as undertaking various training roles, until early retirement from the Thresher Group in 2003. I attended various educational courses organised by or through The Wine and Spirit Educational Trust, culminating in passing their diploma examination in the early 80's. |  |

To consolidate this, I have travelled extensively to various wine regions, trying to increase my knowledge. In the past 5 years I have visited Rioja on two occasions, Costers Del Segre, Priorat, Jumilla, Yecla, Penedes and Burgundy. Past visits include South Africa, Champagne, Bordeaux and Cognac. | |
My mission is to bring a quality
selection to wine lovers from producers not commonly found in the multiple
outlets. |
